Hokuto City Tourism Exchange Center

Located within the same premises of Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station serving the Hokkaido Shinkansen Line, the Hokuto City Tourism Exchange Center offers tourist information as the access hub for trains and roads.
This complex houses the Hokuto City Tourist Information Center, a rest area with café, and a souvenir shop and gallery.

Tourist Information center

1F: Hokuto City Tourist Information Center
The Tourist Information Center has a warm atmosphere created from the beautiful contrast of red bricks and Donan Japanese cedar. The Center offers tourist brochures for Hokuto City, Hokkaido Prefecture, and Aomori Prefecture. The center has tourist information staff at all times. Please feel free to stop by for sightseeing information.

Rest Area

2F: Bento Cafe 41° Garden
The Bento Café 41° Garden offers freshly made bento from the kitchen. Popular menu items include the Café Bento made from the local ingredients of southern Hokkaido, coffee drinks, and ice cream. The Rest Area is open for anyone.

Event Space

1F: Hot Gallery
The Event Space features a red brick design and showcases exhibitions about Hokuto City. Visitors can also see Japan’s (world’s) only statue of Kenshiro of Hokuto no Ken.
